DiGi Challenge for Change (DiGiCFC) is coming to the fifth edition, and you have not more than a week to submit your innovative mobile app ideas.
This phase calls for the public to submit their ideas on www.digicfc.my across four Challenge categories. This phase also includes ideation workshops at universities across the country and #IDEAJAM, the 2-day ‘idea hackathon’ where 20 shortlisted ideators will be invited to meet and engage with various industry experts to get input and further refine their ideas. The best 4 ideas will be developed into mobile apps in the next phase.
App Development Challenge (26 January 2014 to 24 April 2014)
This phase invites Malaysian developers to build mobile apps of the 4 winning ideas from the ideation challenge, on any mobile operating platform. To accelerate the app development process, developers will be invited to participate in HACK!@DiGiCFC, a 36-hour non-stop mobile app hackathon weekend.
Commercialisation
Each app will then be made available for download and review by the public. The most popular and feasible apps for the 4 ideas will win the challenge and DiGi will support these apps by promoting them to its customer base, including its 6.8 million mobile internet subscribers across its various customer touch points.

This is my submission! I love travelling and I realised that there is not many mobile apps on Malaysia travel tips. Since this year is Visit Malaysia Year, I really wish to see an apps that allows public to input travel tips in Malaysia. This apps will not only benefit Malaysians who wish to travel in own country, but also attract foreigners to visit our country.
This time there are four categories for you to submit your ideas:
Learning & Edutainment
Health & Wellness
Discovering Culture
Connected Citizens*
*The last one is new! Specially for mobile app ideas that facilitate the delivery of public services.
The challenge is open to all Malaysians aged 12 years and above, and there will be three stages:

Step 2: Fill in your personal details
Of course you should fill in accurate information, so that there won't be any problem to claim your prize when you win. =p
Step 3: Submit an idea
Give your app a name, my suggestion is to make a catchy name to attract the panel to look at it. =p
Put in keywords of your apps so that it is easier for people to find it.
Insert your idea, you must try to sell your idea with not more than 1000 characters, so make it simple and straightforward!
And of course, tell the panel what kind of problem that your apps can solve.
Step 4: Share out your idea and encourage your friends to join the contest!
You can also submit more idea so there is more chance to get into next stage.
